Pressure cleaning is the most important part of tennis court maintenance, tarmac and synthetic grass courts will always get moss and algae build up which causes the court to become slippery and very unsafe to play on.

With a full intensive pressure clean the moss and algae can be removed. Once this is achieved the court will only need a wash off and treatment once a year to keep moss and algae away.

“At just 23, Fin has built one of Hertfordshire’s most talked-about exterior cleaning companies — but his journey started long before Thompsons Prowash was born.

From the age of four, Finley was a passionate motocross rider, competing at a professional level. But at 11, a serious racing accident left him with a badly broken leg and a year in a wheelchair. Missing school and struggling with confidence would have stopped many in their tracks — but not Finley. Determined, he returned to riding as soon as he recovered, keeping motocross as a much-loved hobby while looking ahead to a different career path.

After leaving school, Finley knew he wanted to work for himself. During lockdown, a conversation with his father — who fondly recalled starting his own pressure washing company, Pro Clean, as a young man — planted the seed. Inspired, Finley invested every penny of his savings into top-of-the-line machinery, the highest quality cleaning products, and a van, determined to offer clients a service second to none.

Fast forward a few years and Thompsons Prowash has grown into a trusted name, with a small, dedicated team delivering jaw-dropping transformations for both residential and commercial clients.
